The Pirate Escape Scavenger Hunt
A Pirate Themed Scavenger Hunt That Includes Admission To The South Carolina Historical Society Museum
The Pirate Escape Scavenger Hunt is a Private Self-Paced Scavenger Hunt in Historic Charleston.
This Scavenger Hunt is great for kids & adults as it takes you back in time to the Golden Age of Piracy along the Carolina Coastline. There is a time limit on your escape so this scavenger hunt is also like an outdoor escape room!
What you will do
In 1718 there was a very real pirate siege that occurred in Charles Towne, South Carolina.
Guests will start at The South Carolina Historical Society museum, pictured here.
At the museum, you will be given a packet with instructions & clues. As pirates, you will be looking for items to help you escape town!
Historical accuracy was paramount in the sites selected as part of the experience. Packet instructions & information have been vetted by two local historians (myself & Captain Bryan Blalock) + the directors of The South Carolina Historical Society.
